So about 2 years ago, I decided that I was going to become a Diamond Member with my comp rewards program at the string of casinos I go to, but just never found the time to go up to Atlantic City to make it happen. I've kind of rearranged my schedule and figured that it takes me a little under 3 hours to get up to AC now from my place in Crofton and if I gamble all night with a nap in my free room and come back in the morning, I can make my goal pretty easily and not miss a ton of work. And all I have to pay for is gas and whatever gambling money I need.
Probably not going to make it to Diamond this year, but next year it'll be totally doable. I'm definitely going to try to make Platinum by year end. Right now, I'm planning every other Monday night, so if you're free and want a road trip, let me know.
