Unintended Christmas Greeting...

I have lived in my place in Crofton for over 3 years now. We still get mail for the people that lived here before us. Nothing too important usually, mostly random magazines or junk mail from for out of date mailing lists. During the Holidays, we get a few more than normal but nothing ever worth forwarding or reading.

Over the weekend they got a Christmas Card and we opened it. I've done this before and gotten the normal generic, "Happy Holidays. Love Billy Bob and Mary Sue" messages. This one though was by far the best I have ever seen in all my years of opening other people's mail.

and it came with a picture!

It was the saddest story we have ever seen and wondered why they spent money on cards and stamps when they should be working on heat in the house. My roommate being the generous person she is sent them a card back from us with some $$ we've been fighting over [she won't take it for paying for my groceries] and 2 lottery tickets. She's nice and crazy [very crazy and she calls me the sucker].
